Amazing Smoothie Recipes Review for Good Health and Great Flavour!

Posted by: Jen Turner

September 7th, 2009 >> Cherry talk to you

I had decided to lose weight, but I wanted to make sure I was doing this in a healthy way, which is why I thought smoothies would be a great choice. I quickly found the Amazing Smoothie Recipes eBook which not only gave me great recipes, it also told me about the numerous health benefits of smoothies – which I was really interested in learning.

The eBook itself only cost me $9.95 and it was very easy to purchase and download, coming in a PDF file that could be saved to my computer as well as printed out to put in a ring binder. This was good for me as I was really excited to get reading and learning all about smoothies. It even had 4 bonus eBooks which are also really useful!

Some of the great things this eBook has taught me include just why it’s so important to have 5 portions of fruit and vegetables each day. Because most of us lead such busy lives, we often get as little as three – but the recipes in this eBook provide a helpful way around this. You’ll even get a chart so you can tick off how many portions of fruit you eat every day.

I loved sitting down reading the interesting facts in this eBook about a healthy diet – on top of the yummy recipes it included. It tells you all about what nutrients you need each day, and I especially loved learning about important smoothie ingredients that can help fight off disease, like cancer. These recipes all include different types of antioxidants which can really give your health, and your immune system, a boost.

These recipes are perfect for anyone who wants to stick to eating only raw foods, as they only take a minute to make in the blender. Some of my favorite recipes are the Pink Banana Smoothie and the Apple Passion, on pages 37 and 43. Make sure you try them!

One important point to emphasise is that the measurements in this eBook all come in ml instead of cups. This shouldn’t be too much of a problem, since most measuring jugs come with both. If yours doesn’t, then I recommend buying a Pyrex measuring cup. Fortunately mine did measure in both, and I found that 1 cup was roughly equal to just over 200ml of juice.

My favourite thing about buying this recipe collection in eBook format was that I could download it as soon I bought it – and I could buy it at whatever time I wanted. And, since it is delivered electronically, the makers could add on the great bonus eBooks: 101 Amazing Ways to Stay Healthy, The Amazing Family Cookbook (with 500+ low sugar and low fat recipes), Amazing Vegetable Variations (300+ recipes that families love) and Amazing Fast Food Facts.

In short, I really do think this eBook is great for anyone who is trying to lose weight, as well as anyone who wants to learn more about easy ways to be more healthy.

Whether you’re learning how to be a little more healthy, or trying to lose some weight, the Amazing Smoothie Recipes ebook is a great way of getting started. You can also follow my own weight loss progress and menu ideas on my weight loss blog at Diet Smoothie.net
